Job Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Minimum SSC / Diploma

• Candidates with strong hands-on experience and proven fire safety skills may be considered even if academic qualification is below diploma

• Diploma in Fire Technology / Fire Safety / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant field will be preferred

• FSCD recognized Fire Safety Training Certificate will be an added advantage

Experience

• 2–3 years of relevant working experience

• Experience in any of the following sectors will be preferred:

  • FMCG / Manufacturing

  • Food & Beverage (Packaged)

  • Retail Stores

  • Agro-based industries (Agro processing, seed, GM, etc.)

  • Real Estate

  • Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread)

  • Restaurant

Additional Requirements

• Age limit: 20–40 years

• Good understanding of fire safety systems and equipment

• Practical experience with FSCD compliance and audit processes

• Physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations

• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-focused mindset

• Willingness to work in shifts when required

Job Context

Hashem Foods Limited is seeking a dedicated Fire Technician / Fireman to ensure effective fire safety management, system maintenance, and compliance at the factory premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor, and maintain all fire protection systems including fire pumps, hydrants, extinguishers, alarms, and sprinkler systems

• Ensure fire safety systems comply with NFPA standards and applicable local regulations

• Keep proper records of inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs, and preventive schedules

• Support fire drills, emergency response activities, and evacuation exercises

• Assist Fire Manager / Fire Officer in checking fire hydrant networks and emergency water availability

• Participate in physical training and fire-fighting practice to maintain operational readiness

• Provide basic first aid until professional medical support arrives

• Conduct routine workplace inspections to identify potential fire and safety hazards

• Clean and maintain fire-fighting equipment such as hoses, nozzles, and accessories

• Ensure fire safety measures during hot work activities (welding, cutting, grinding, etc.) following approved permit procedures
